| A Brief History of Fairview Christian Church |
Fairview Christian Church began having worship service on
March 27, 1955. From the first service in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Wayne Wood, located on (Fairview) street to the current
location located on Highway 61, Festus, Missouri, men, women
and children have found a firm foundation directing them in God’
s purpose for their lives. There also have been many who have
stepped through the doors of Fairview Christian Church that have
continued to serve in different ministries and mission’s through-
out the world.
Further, Fairview Christian Church since its beginning is based
on the description of the church in the New Testament of being
part of the body of Christ. It is a responsibility and privilege to be
part of the Lord’s church here on earth. By God’s grace, Fairview
Christian Church will prayerfully continue to have a God-
honoring and Christ-obeying work to do in our community and
the world.
